LGBTQIA+ creators are Out Here on Twitch. They’re out here carrying their teams, making music, championing mental health, and being who they are. Together, they’re making Twitch a better place for everyone.
So this June, we’re celebrating all the LGBTQIA+ streamers who boldly represent themselves every time they go live. Throughout the month, we’ll be spotlighting creators every day on the homepage, hosting a concert for charity, educating ourselves and our community, and a whole lot more.
It all kicks off June 1st. Here’s a look at everything that’s going down.
Spotlighting LGBTQIA+ creators
Stay tuned to the Twitch homepage every day for a new creator to watch and chat with. Drop by chat and say hey!

This list is a great place to start, but there are so many more creators you can support in your own ways through raiding, hosting, and collaboration. Don’t forget that you can also customize your “suggested streamers” section on your profile page to feature your favorite LGBTQIA+ creators. This can be accomplished by editing your Host List in your Creator dashboard. You can also follow along on our European social pages in UK and Ireland, France, Germany, Spain and Italy for more details on planned events celebrating local LGBTQIA+ creators and their communities in support of Pride.
OutLoud: Raising Voices
On June 4-6, from LA Memorial Coliseum, the OutLoud: Raising Voices concert will be live on https://www.twitch.tv/officiallyoutloud. Headliners include artists Adam Lambert, Kim Petras, Hayley Kiyoko, and Sofi Tukker.
This charity event is happening in partnership with Pride Live’s Stonewall Day (a global campaign that elevates awareness and support for the Stonewall legacy and the continued fight for full LGBTQ+ equality), as well as LGBTQ+ charities Trans Tech Social and Trans Lash.
Pride Merch On Amazon + Gift Cards
When you give a gift card during the month of June, you can choose a Pride-themed gift card design only on Amazon in the US. It’s a great way for the recipient - whether it’s for a friend or yourself (‘cause, you know, treat yourself) - to support their favorite LGBTQIA+ creators. Gift cards are good towards subs, gift subs, or Bits, all of which help make the stream possible. It’s the perfect gift to celebrate a streamer during one of our favorite months of the year, so go on, level up that hype train, meet a sub goal, or make it rain gift subs for the community.
At Twitch, we always “STREAM AS ONE.” This Pride, we are excited to showcase a singular design that represents love and support for our LGBTQIA+ community. Like our growing community, we’ve also expanded our merchandise offering which now includes Tees, Sweaters, Zip Hoodies, and Pullover Hoodies in a range of fits and sizes, including youth. Visit twitch.tv/lootcave to wear your support. Available in: US, UK, EU, and JP. For every PRIDE 2021 apparel purchase from June 1 12AM to June 30 11:59PM PT, Twitch will make a $5 donation to Trans Lifeline, up to a total of $25,000.
One way to support LGBTQIA+ people beyond just Pride is to inform yourself and others about current news, policies, and legislation affecting these communities, as well as how to be a better ally.
Raid and Collaborate
For creators, collaborating with other streamers is a great way to grow your channels and have fun in the process. If you haven’t already, take time to expand your network to include LGBTQIA+ creators. We’ve listed some who will be featured this month, but there are many more doing amazing stuff all across Twitch.
Fundraise for Charity
Our community has shown time and time again the powerful ability to mobilize around a common goal. There are plenty of organizations that support the LGBTQIA+ community on Tiltify, and don’t forget to check out the Creator Camp on Charity Streaming for best practices and tips. Don’t see the charity you’d like to support listed? Let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll work with Tiltify to try and get them added.
You can also support the organizations providing essential support to the LGBTQIA+ community like The Trevor Project and Trans Lifeline who offer mental health support to those who need it or check out one of the other amazing charities on Tiltifyand Stream Labs Charity. If you’re new to charity streaming, check out our Creator Camp on Charity Streaming to get started!
Set up Your Channel Rules
Be proactively inclusive by setting up your channel rules. Let new viewers know you’re building an inclusive community and include your pronouns in your channel rules or stream title.
Report. Don’t Just Ban
Transphobia, homophobia, hateful conduct, and harassment have no place on Twitch, social media, or anywhere else. Please report it to us so that we can continue to take action against those who violate our Community Guidelines and seek to harm our community and creators. If you only ban, without reporting, Twitch doesn’t know what happened. We’ve also updated our harassment and abuse policy for incidents that happen off-platform, and you can read up on the update here.
